Factory Resetting Your FJ80Updated a month ago

Occasionally, it may be necessary to reset your FJ system lighting and triggering devices to the factory defaults. A reset will not affect the firmware version and may maintain other customized settings such as language choice. Channel, group, and camera brand choices will often need to be readjusted after a factory reset.

FJ80 and FJ80 II M (FJ80II S)

  1. Press the Home button and select Settings.
  2. Press the down arrow until you see Factory Reset.
  3. Select it by touching it and then press OK.
  4. When the reset is complete, you will be brought back to the home menu. Channel, group, and camera choice may need to be adjusted after a reset.

FJ80 SE M (FJ80 SE S)

  1. Simultaneously press both center buttons (settings button with a gear icon) just below the screen.
  2. Press the leftmost button just below the screen reset icon. You will hear two soft beeps.
  3. Reset your camera choice (default is Canon) as needed.
  4. Press the rightmost button below the screen return icon.
  5. Adjust your channel and group as needed. The reset will default to channel 1 and group A.
