Wrinkle-Resistant Background Use and CareUpdated 7 minutes ago
Our wrinkle-resistant backgrounds feature a textured pattern that helps conceal minor wrinkles. Combined with the natural bokeh blur from your camera lens, this creates a smooth, seamless appearance. For best results, make sure to photograph the textured side, not the smooth side.
When using our X-Drop Frames, pull the background tight to achieve a clean, polished look.
Due to our retail packaging, backgrounds are tightly folded, so deeper creases may be visible upon initial unpacking.
Removing Creases
- Fabric backdrops can be put into a dryer using a normal heat setting for drying clothes.
- A steamer can be used on the smooth side while the background is hanging to remove the deep folds.
- You can gently fold the background in the opposite direction of the existing creases and let it rest that way for a day, or as long as possible, to help reduce deep creases.
Wrinkle-resistant backgrounds are best stored loosely, wadded up in a storage bag, such as our Background Storage Bag. Do not fold or roll for storage.
